Ah. Aunt Mae and Uncle Joe sent you some Christmas Money, eh? Cool. Leave the crack dealer alone, he sure don't wanna be messing with your geek self. But you can buy this stuff and be the envy of all your friends, no? The Atrend Voodoo2's are just reference boards, so grab the 3Dfx reference drivers... The Asus P2B is pretty much the stablest board around. The Creative Labs card is reference too, so grab those reference drivers too. The Monitor is to die for. Drool fest here guys, remember to pick up a towel while you are out. |

Oh yes, the dear Celery 300a. The gift from the God's of gaming to us mere mortals. With the right companion, the peanut butter to your jelly, the "super-board", the Abit BH6, you can crank that joker to 450mhz and run with the big boys. In the bigger box posts, I snuck in a Voodoo 2 card - So if you are on a shoe string budget and have to have Glide so you can play Shadows of the Empire or something, grab the Banshee. If not, definitely go for the Creative Labs TNT. Throw in a great 17" monitor, and what else do you need? |
